It was another weekend of Clemson Tiger football, this one with a much happier ending. Lindsey and I left my house around 8:30 Saturday morning and headed up to Clemson for the Citadel game. We had a blast despite
1) sweating through my brand new orange Lacoste shirt (twice, including my shoulders! Gross!)
2) the lack of a promised flyover (my one real reason for going! I mean really, who has a huge Military Appreciation Day without one! And the website said one was scheduled for right before kickoff!) and
3) being lied about! (How high-school. I feel like LC! But that's another story for another blog post. And don't worry. It's not nearly as raunchy as Lauren dirt laundry, but disappointing nonetheless.)
If anyone can get to the bottom of the Mystery Of The Missing Flyover, I'd love to hear why it failed to occur. I had my camera pointed to the sky and everything!
It was a beautiful day, and for those of you who've never had the privilege of going to Clemson, I highly recommend it. My pictures do not do it justice.

A 21 gun salute to honor fallen soldiers. It was awesome. The crowd was completely silent.
Next up, Clemson vs. NC State in Clemson and USC vs. UGA in Columbia. It's going to be a great football weekend in South Carolina. Hopefully........

My Hubby and I were wondering the same thing about the flyover! We look forward to it every year, especially with Hubby being a CU grad and a veteran.
