Thank you Halloween Express!

I think they must deliver by hand. Either that or my next door neighbor is the Halloween costume distributor because I got that costume in the mail the very next afternoon. So those of you who haven't ordered a costume yet (Meredith) and know you need to get one (Mere) have plenty of time to order one. Because I am telling you it will be here in less than 24 hours.

And I am pleased to say that the costume does fit, though it's a little shorter than I'd bargained for! Why does Halloween have to be so scandalous!? Oh well. It's not that bad. Really.

In other news, it was a fun weekend. I think I am going to become a Vandy fan. I hope y'all watched that game. It was great! And South Carolina won, which doesn't make my Clemson folks happy, but I enjoyed it!

Today was beautiful. I spent it at the park with Jake and a very eclectic group of friends ranging in age from 6 to 31. It was hilarious. Frisbee golf, basketball, baseball....one thing's for sure. No one has ever accused me of being an athlete.

The rest of this week is dedicated to Homecoming! I was even at school on Saturday from 1 to 4 pm with my freshmen as they practiced their skit over and over and over......if I hear Cotton Eyed Joe one more time....but they've worked extremely hard and it is going to be great. We have a country music theme. Hence the Cotton Eyed Joe.... And not to worry. I will be taping the skit at the pep rally and showing it to all of you! Fo' sho'. I know you were all wondering how you were going to be able to see it! I've decided to take care of it for you. You can thank me later!

Friday I'm off to O-H-I-O (Hang on Sloopy, Sloopy hang on!)for a wedding! Julianne and Jomont are getting married this weekend. So I'll be sure to fill you in on the goings on at that wedding. Maybe my soul mate lives in Ohio. My mom seems to think he lives in Charleston. Where ever he is, apparently it isn't here!

I cannot believe you called me out about the Halloween costume debacle! Maybe I'll get one, or maybe I'll be that girl who shows up in jeans and a t-shirt that says "This is my costume."

At least you won't be doing what Jeff and I did last Halloween and show up at a "costume" party only to find out they cancelled the costume part...but you didn't get the MEMO.
Mere, I have faith in you!
