This is what I woke up to this morning:
I was in the middle of blow drying my hair this morning when Jake started going crazy. I thought I heard a banging on my door, but sometimes my crazy across the street neighbor comes over in the morning with some random question. So I went back to drying my hair but whomever was banging on my door was pretty persistent. So I opened my front door in my pajamas, with one side of my hair beautiful, dry and voluminous (yeah right) and the other side dripping wet, to find a police officer on the porch. He was holding a plastic bag with some of my things in it. It took me a minute to figure it out but when I saw my car, I was crushed. They stole my lap top bag, but thankfully my lap top is at school. I only use the bag to carry papers. And of course I had some things in there that needed to be graded, and now they are gone. The scary thing is that the officer found me because in the plastic bag.....was my SC teaching certificate! The original! Thankfully nothing else valuable to anyone but me.
The worst part is there were five other cars broken into on my street and the one behind me. That's scary.
So, I hope your Fridays are all off to better starts than mine. Here it is 9:00 and I am still at home dealing with this. I'm off to school now, but with one less window in my car.

oh man!!! That sucks, hope your day gets better :) Glad you didn't lose your lap top!!!!!!
Ugh, this has happened at my house TWICE- my car and FLP's. What a pain!! I'm so glad your laptop was at school. I'm sure the thief was very disappointed when he opened up that bag. I hope the rest of your day is much better!!

That is terrible!!! So sorry that happened to you :(
Oh my goodness. That's horrible.
What a bad day to start the day.
I'm so sorry that happened to you. The only positive thing about it is that the car is still parked in front of your driveway and not in a chop-shop. I hope your weekend is a good. :-)
Just when you thought things were boring... :)
I am so sorry! There is nothing worse than people that do things like that
Oh no! So glad you're ok and that it's all behind you!
