Holiday Party

On December 13, our friends, Anthony and Wendy, threw the 6th (or 7th? or 1st!?) annual Holiday Party at their house. As always, it was a blast!

Me and Alston (or, why not to take a picture around a camp fire...Alston looks like she's bruised!)

The boys...well, some of them...

Even little bro made an appearance! And we promptly made him take a million pictures. I am sure he appreciated that. We also cheered when he walked in. Nothing like a warm reception.

And every year, this is what happens to me....
I spend the entire time laughing so hard I'm crying. That's an embarassing picture of me, but if you know me, you've seen me like that many a time. Have you heard the new Pink song "Sober?" She says "I don't want to be the girl who laughs the loudest..." Oops.....
Here's why I'm laughing....
Each year, we do one of those Dirty Santa or Chinese gift exchange games. Except with this group, it's a little different; the gifts are usually inappropriate.
But oh so funny.
So without further procrastination (you know me!), here's what brought us to tears this year....

Who's Christmas is complete without a smokeless ashtray!?

Similarly, what 30 year old man doesn't need a Bedazzler? And, yes, we bedazzeled our hair....

Poor Long Fei. First he had this....and he cared not for the beer, but he loved that fish. A lot.

But Fisch stole his fish.

Then Long Fei went for this...I can't even remember what it was, but not to worry. They didn't let him keep that either. Someone stole that from him too. He ended up with four bags of pistacios. Poor Long Fei. And he also couldn't understand why we called it a Chinese Gift Exchange. So we changed it to a Hungarian Gift Exchange, which makes the same amount of sense.

Nothing really says Merry Christmas like a motion activated, talking, cussing turtle.

A close up of just what you can expect to hear from Terry if you cross his path...he's an equal opportunity offender. It matters not who activates him...

The title of this book is "Let Your Fingers Do The Talking."

I was extremely jealous of this gift. I was hoping someone would steal mine so that I could steal this. If you haven't seen this video, you've got to.

Now I've got to spend New Years Eve with some of these freaks!
