Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I hope that everyone had a good one, and I hope if you were able to get out and enjoy the festivities anywhere that you did not overindulge on green libations. I only had one...green one that is...

One of my students today told me that I looked "ordinary," which I did not take as a compliment. I had on jeans, a khaki jacket and and St. Patrick's Day t-shirt. He told me I looked like I'd just climbed out of bed and thrown some clothes on. Hmm. I had a tutor in my room who is a volunteer from the community and she gave him a hard time by saying "I'm sure she doesn't mind, but in the future, I think if I were you I'd keep comments like that to yourself." She was right, I didn't care what he was saying. I think he felt pretty bad and tried to cover for it by saying "I'm just so used to seeing her dressed up with creased pants on."

Creased pants! I love it!! Remember, I've said multiple times I love to iron! If you know me well, you know I do it every morning! Even my kids are picking up on this!!

Well, he wasn't able to dig himself out of his hole. Which was fine; I wasn't offended. But, the worst part....it wasn't even a freshman!!

I promise to pick up on the blogging, so don't forget about me! It's just going to be pretty slim until around March 31! If I can make it through to the end of the month, I will be a very happy teacher and a much more productive blogger!
