Edisto, Part Two

We spent Memorial Day weekend at Edisto again. If you haven't been, I highly recommend a trip to Edisto Island.
We went to Otter Island all day Sunday, and these pictures are from that day.

We took quite a crowd to Otter. It was great. We took several boat loads full of people out there and stayed all day long. Otter Island is a very cool place.....it is essentially a deserted place with absolutely nothing on it. It is about 30 minutes away by boat.

It wasn't all fun and games though! We had some injuries. I think the one above was caused by a seashell. Thanks Weisman!

Fun Beau was out in full force! But he would NOT dance on film. Trust me, when the cameras weren't pointed at him, he was going to town. It was hilarious! Fun Beau and Fun Alle never come out at the same time, and Saturday Fun Alle was still recovering from Fun Friday Night. Fun Alle does not make many appearances, and most certainly not two nights in a row! But Beau made up for that!

The boys on the beach created a version of volleyball which was played by standing in a circle. But you did NOT want to miss or mess up. The punishment was brutal! I did not partake for fear of facing the punishment! Meredith was a champ at it though!

Essentially the whole weekend was like a throwback to old times. It was like being at First Week or Senior Beach Week. Thankfully the weekend was only three days, because I am not sure that I would have had it in me to keep going longer than that. I think we might be getting too old for all this! But we have certainly started a new tradition. Though next year we'll have to find a house much closer to said bar. It's hard to beat being able to walk there and back. And NOT have to wait in line for the bathroom.

I would like to thank Lindsey and Vance for their search and rescue mission, though rescue has negative conotations. It was more of a pick up. But thanks nontheless!

What a weekend. And now we have to wait until July to do it again. That's good though, because it gives us a month of a self-induced detox......I need a break!

Lots of inside jokes from the weekend....said, white bread, beacons of light, blowouts, RBVSes that Linds plans to take global, "sea salt" on the skirt...sure it was!.....what a weekend. Glad we made it back safe!
