Two things...

1. Caller called me back today. He called in the middle of the day.....clue number 2 that he's possibly unemployed and enrolled at a local university as an undergrad? I think so. What did I do? Well, I didn't call him back. That's not that rude, is it? Chances are I'm a solid 8 or 9 years older than him. I don't think he realizes that.

2. And you know you go to the grocery store too much when the cashiers begin to comment on not seeing you yesterday. It's true. I love a Publix. It's a hard pressed toss up between a Publix and a CVS for the coveted honor of being my favorite place. I visit both frequently. I knew the girl who worked the register at my old CVS....old CVS being the one on the other side of town. I haven't met the girls at my new 24 hour CVS yet, but I will. And I go to the Publix every day. I go and get food for the meals I plan to eat that day, which means I have to go back the next day. If I miss a day or two in a row, they ask me where I've been. The other day I went and bought some Miller Lite. I reached into my purse to hand the guy my ID and he said "Oh, it's alright. I carded you last week. I remember." Not sure if I should feel flattered or freaked that I go to the grocery store too much.

I just came across your blog via a link and I love it. I spent some time reading back logs and you have a great sense of humor. since I work as a substitue teacher, I can relate to some of the things you've written about your students. Thanks for sharing.

The pharmacist at my old pharmacy knew me by sight and would have my prescription waiting for me when I got to the front of the line. And it wasn't like, a tiny neighborhood pharmacy, it was Target! And I only went once a month, for birth control. It kind of weirded me out that he remembered me.
